Squash Blossoms
>> Tuesday, June 9, 2009
These are a couple of the Acorn Squash along the fence in the Southeast quadrant. They've really taken hold in their beds and almost every plant has several blossoms on them.
This is a big Yellow Squash blossom in the Southwest quadrant.
We are also getting more blossoms on the various Tomato beds, and the Cucumbers outside the fence. Veggies should start appearing soon!
I also went after the Colorado Potato Beetles with a double whammy of Diatomaceous Earth and cornmeal. Hopefully that will whack them out, and we won't have to deal with them again. Stay tuned...
